The first batch of the day is picked. Every book is meticulously wrapped and securely packaged. Then it is precisely weighed, recorded and is now ready for a shipping label. Time to use the snowmobile. This drift was 3 feet tall. Mission accomplished Safe arrival at the Emigrant Post Office. Lori the postmaster takes good care of our packages. 	A Typical Day at Brockett Designs
	Brockett Designs is located high in the mountains near the small town of Emigrant in south central Montana. Hopefully our photos will give you an idea of why we love Montana and the book business. Our day often starts with a magnificent sunrise at breakfast. Around 9 AM we process the orders, create invoices and a book picking list. Thousands of books are neatly shelved and organized for easy picking. We meticulously wrap and securely package every book so it arrives to you in the same condition as it left us. Around 3 in the afternoon we load the Jeep Rubicon with packages and deftly head down the mountain. Once in a while the snow is too deep for the Jeep. Then we use our snowmobile. About 30 minutes later we arrive at the Emigrant Post Office where Lori the Postmaster carefully sorts and sends our packages on their way to our customers around the world. In the evening we usually work for an hour or two scanning new books into our inventory and stocking shelves. On summer weekends we hike in the back yard Gallitan mountains or work in our gardens. During the winter we ski and snowshoe in Yellowstone National Park. Hunting and world class fishing are also popular pursuits here.
